The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Unit:

(i) Plays the role of advisor to the Director General on expertise and application of ICT in operations of the Institute;

(ii) Devises effective and efficient methods of conducting computer programs and Systems;

(iii) Advises and Participates on the formulation and implementation of the Institute’s ICT policies and plans;

(iv) Ensures creation and updates of the Institute’s website and internet connectivity;

(v) Liaises with other public institutions in managing and efficiency running of the website in accordance with the laid down laws, regulations and policies;

(vi) Ensures upon approval, efficiency and effective uploading of relevant TIE information in the website;

(vii) Ensures efficient and effective delivery of e-services to both internal and external stakeholders;

(viii) Recommends in-service training programmes to staff within the Unit.
