Finance and Accounts Unit

The unit operates under the Chief Accountant who reports to Director General. It is charged with:

• Coordination of all financial matters of the institute.

• Management of daily accounting and financial operations.

• Preparation of daily payments and receipts of the institute.

• Preparation of financial statements for auditing.

• Preparation of management periodic accounting reports.

• Management of records of assets of the institute.

• Preparation of the budget of the Institute.

• Preparation of estimates of income and expenditure.

• Management of records of assets of the institute.
